MS Interio: building a website designed to be cited

Case studyWeb design & buildInterior design ·Updated 2026-08-31
The short answer

BAIDLABS designed and built msinterio.in for MS Interio, a Jaipur interior design studio with 35+ projects and 250,000+ sq ft delivered since 2019. The site was engineered for machine readability from the first line of code. AI-visibility results are being measured now and are not yet published — the baseline and method are below, and the numbers will appear here when there are honest ones to report.

The client

MS Interio is an interior design studio in Jaipur, Rajasthan, working across residential and commercial projects — apartments, bungalows, showrooms and offices — with a turnkey model that covers design through execution. Established in 2019, the studio has delivered 35+ projects covering more than 250,000 sq ft, and produces its own 3D visualisation and photorealistic renders.

Like most design studios, its business came through referral and reputation. Like most design studios, its digital presence was built to be looked at rather than to be found.

The problem with how design studios get built online

Interior design is one of the industries most exposed to the shift toward AI-mediated discovery, for a reason that's easy to miss: clients ask advisory questions. Not "interior designer Jaipur," but "who should I hire for a 3BHK renovation in Jaipur, and what will it cost?"

Those questions get answered by AI engines that need machine-readable facts — scope, location, property type, budget range, service model — to match a studio to a brief. And the standard design-studio website supplies almost none of them. Full-bleed photography, a project grid labelled "Residence 04," minimal copy, a contact form. Beautiful to a human; close to empty to a retrieval system.

A portfolio that can't be read is a portfolio that can't be recommended.

What we built

The brief was a complete website design and build. Because BAIDLABS is a GEO studio, "AI-ready" wasn't a phase bolted on at the end — it shaped the architecture from the start. That is substantially cheaper than building a site and retrofitting it, which is the more common and more expensive sequence.

Structure that machines can parse

An explicit entity

Structured data identifying MS Interio as a specific local business: name, Jaipur address, contact details, service area, and the services it actually provides. The goal is unambiguous entity resolution — an engine should be able to answer "what exactly is this?" without inference.

Described work, not just displayed work

Projects carry text a machine can read — property type, scale, location, scope and outcome — rather than a title and a photograph. This is the single highest-leverage change available to any design studio, and the one almost none of them make.

Answer-shaped content

Service definitions written as direct answers to the questions clients actually ask: what turnkey execution includes, how residential differs from commercial engagements, what the studio's process looks like end to end.

What we are measuring

Here is where we depart from how agencies usually present case studies. We do not yet have published outcome numbers, so we are not going to invent them or dress up early noise as a result.

What exists is a defined baseline, captured using the method in our guide on measuring AI visibility:

MetricWhat it capturesStatus
Prompt panel~25 fixed questions a real client would ask — designers in Jaipur, 3BHK interior cost, turnkey vs design-only, luxury residentialDefined and running
Mention rateShare of panel prompts where MS Interio is named at allBaseline captured
Citation rateShare where msinterio.in appears in the answer's sourcesBaseline captured
Recommendation rateShare where the studio is put forward as an option — the commercial metricBaseline captured
Competitor setWhich Jaipur studios appear instead, and on which promptsTracked per run
Per-engine splitChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini tracked separatelyTracked per run
Why publish a case study with no results yet? Because the honest version is more useful than the alternative. Any agency can produce a chart. What distinguishes real GEO work is whether a defensible baseline was captured before the work started — without it, every later claim is unfalsifiable. This page exists to document that the baseline exists. The numbers will be added here as they mature, alongside the method that produced them.

What we would tell another design studio

Most of the value here doesn't require hiring anyone. In rough order of impact:

  1. Write 150 words under every project. Property type, size, location, scope, timeline, what problem you solved. An afternoon's work that converts an invisible gallery into retrievable content.
  2. Answer the cost question. Ranges by finish level, with caveats. It's the most-asked and least-answered question in the industry — publishing an honest answer gets cited, and pre-qualifies enquiries.
  3. Complete your Google Business Profile and make your details identical across every platform.
  4. Build a review habit. Recent volume matters more than an old pile.
  5. Then worry about schema and technical work.

The full version is in GEO for interior designers.

Frequently asked

Why are there no results in this case study? +
Because there aren't honest ones to report yet. The site is recent and the AI-visibility baseline is still being tracked. We would rather publish a case study documenting a real method with results pending than fabricate a before-and-after chart — particularly when our entire pitch is that measurement should be verifiable.
How long until the results appear? +
Meaningful share-of-voice movement typically takes two to four months of consistent work. We will update this page with the panel data — including the prompts where we're still absent — rather than only the flattering numbers.
Can you do this for my business? +
Yes — whether that's a new website built AI-ready from the start, a rebuild of an existing one, or GEO work on a site you already have. The free audit is the starting point either way: you'll get a baseline of where you appear across engines and a prioritized plan you keep regardless of whether we work together.
