Who we are
BAIDLABS is a generative and answer engine optimization studio operated as a sole proprietorship by Nehum Baid, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In this policy "we", "us" and "BAIDLABS" mean that business, and "you" means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.

The short version
In one paragraph
We collect only what you type into a form and anonymous usage statistics. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not build profiles of you. Form submissions go to Google Forms and Google Sheets; usage statistics go to Google Analytics, and only if you agree to analytics cookies. You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you at any time.
What we collect, and why
1. Information you give us in a form
Both forms on this site — the audit request on the home page and the report request in the free checker — ask for your name, work email address, and optionally your company website and a message. The checker form also attaches the result of the scan you just ran, so we can reply about it usefully.
We use this only to reply to you and to deliver what you asked for. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing to people who only asked for an audit.
2. Website addresses entered into the free checker
When you enter a website address into the checker, that address is sent to third-party relay services so the page can be read. It is also recorded in our analytics as an anonymous statistic, so we can see what kinds of sites people are testing. It is not linked to you unless you go on to submit the report form.
3. Anonymous usage statistics
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type, and events such as running a check. This is aggregated and we cannot identify you from it. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment card details on this website, we do not ask for identity documents, we do not use advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not attempt to identify anonymous visitors.
Legal basis
Where the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, we process form data on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on consent for analytics cookies, and on legitimate interests for replying to a business enquiry you initiated.
Who else can see it
- Google (Forms, Sheets, Analytics) — form submissions are stored in Google Sheets, and analytics data in Google Analytics. Both sit under our Google account.
- Relay services — the free checker cannot read another website directly from your browser, so requests pass through third-party relays (currently
r.jina.ai, andapi.allorigins.winorapi.codetabs.comas fallbacks). Only the public web address you typed is sent. Nothing about you is sent. - Google Fonts — typefaces load from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google when the page loads.
- GitHub — this site is hosted on GitHub Pages, so GitHub processes the request that serves you the page.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone, for any purpose.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Google’s services store data on servers outside India, including in the United States. Google’s own safeguards for those transfers apply.
- Form submissions: kept while the enquiry is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted.
- Analytics: retained for the period set in Google Analytics, currently 2 months for event-level data.
Your rights
Whichever law applies to you, we will honour these on request: access a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, withdraw consent, and complain to a regulator. Email nehum@baidlabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
Under the DPDP Act, Nehum Baid is the person responsible for handling grievances. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India. In the UK or EU, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.
Children
This is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security — and its limits
The site is served over HTTPS and form data goes directly to Google’s infrastructure rather than a server of ours. We are a small business relying on Google’s security rather than operating our own, and no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We will tell affected people promptly if we become aware of a breach involving their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be notified by email where we have one.
